The Man Behind The Art

꩜ ݁.⊹ Hi there, I'm Lewis and I'm known online as deadintheparty ⊹. ݁꩜I'm a self-taught artist from the South East of England with a passion for fandom and creative expression in all aspects of life!Here are 5 pointless facts about me:
1. I graduated with a BSc in Cognitive & Clinical Neuroscience from The University of Westminster in 2024
2. I currently have 38 tattoos (I designed 11 of them and I handpoked 12 of them) & 10 piercings
3. I have been to 10 of James Marriott's concerts and have met him 6 times!
4. My favourite colours are black and royal blue (the exact colour of the text on this site!)
5. I am OBSESSED with mangoNow, back to talking about art. I have always been (& probably will always be) a fan artist above all else. I began drawing regularly in 2019 after receiving an iPad for my 18th birthday and immediately threw myself into creating art inspired by my passions. I have actively participated in online fandom since 2014 and had always craved a way to connect to my passions even further, fan art became my perfect outlet for that. I love to make vibrant and unique pieces, often incorporating elements of graphic design, and I hope that they bring joy to those that see them. I'm also a sucker for drawing people's side profiles!!I sometimes make personal art, though not as often as fan art!! When I do, I try my best to incorporate the most fundamental parts of myself into those pieces. My existence is a fat, queer & trans existence, and I strive to have my work reflect that.Additionally, through commissions, I have had the opportunity to create bespoke art & graphics for friends, family and clients. While my own creative concepts are fun to execute, I find a seperate joy in working closely with my clients to bring their fantastic ideas to life.
